Helios Public Volunteer Recruitment Announcement

We are currently seeking new volunteers to fill up our staff positions. If you are unfamiliar with the group, we are a community-run non-profit organization located in the St.Henri burrow of Montreal. We offer workspace for various forms of skill sets, from the first-time hobbyist to the workshop enthusiast. Our goal is to provide a safe and encouraging work environment for everyone.
As a volunteer with us, you gain the opportunity to learn new skills, meet creative people, and get inspired to pick something new. You'll be given access to our workspace free of charge during our operating hours. You will have the opportunity to mentor workshops and engage in a learning experience. If you feel that you want to be part of a growing organization and help others learn new creative skills. Hello, this message is to thank all of our current members and people who had participated and became part of our community. Bonds and friendship have been made and we hope to continue offering our services to you. Everyone's contributions will never be forgotten, we want to thank everyone for being part of this ever-growing community.
To update people with our current situation, The Helios Makerspace group has gone through changes with its management team, we understand the concerns brought up to us before and we are taking actions on correcting these as we move forward.
Secondly due to complications we unfortunately can no longer hold our operations in the space that we were in
An agreement has been met with J.K custom guitars to keep our operations open. We will temporarily be sharing some working space.w
With the good willingness and graciousness they have allowed us to continue so we can assemble ourselves and progress into a new work environment.
With this being said, we can no longer accommodate large projects, we were are limited to 3 work tables and various tool provided by J.K customs.
With your continuous support from our great community of makers , we look forward to moving into a new studio space by then we will be able to accommodate all your needs.
Helios is not closing its doors, we are just limited with what we can offer at the moment, again with everyone's gracious continuous support we will be able serve our community much better.
There will be an updated on our new location with J.K customs and our new operating hours.

They had their operational bank account cleaned out and need help recovering as they await the money to be returned.

With the help of some seriously dedicated volunteers, we are building a better Helios for our members and the community!

With some focus on shop tasks that include cleaning and maintenance, we will be able to grow and become what we were before that pesky pandemic came along.
