Our Story

Formed in 2017, Montreal’s Dark Alternative Rock band Spectroom is a late night dance across the lines of Post-Punk, Indie, Grunge and Pop with a little pinch of Metal. While influenced by iconic bands like Nirvana and Depeche Mode, their music aims towards the modern rock sound of Queens of the Stone Age, Muse and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Composed of catchy melodies, beautiful baritone harmonies, heavy but groovy drumbeats and lyrical cello lullabies, Spectroom is often described as a dynamic roller coaster of emotions by concertgoers.

Dealing with themes of life and death, sexuality, young love and equality, the band encourages people to rise against their inner demons.
