Few more thoughts:
- If you think country music is lame, clearly you haven’t heard country music played well.
- Killing musicians exist in all styles of music.
- Understanding jazz improvisation techniques and theory are applicable in any style. However using jazz techniques without respecting the idioms of a style is immature.
