We've been busy! These "invitation to create" art experiences never cease to amaze me. This week we used combs to create the look of fur. We discussed texture and how the effect looked different then when a paint brush was used. We worked our hand and finger muscles with syringes. Rolling a die we found out how many animals needed "medicine". We painted beautiful colored paper bowls and are now working on paper mache bowls. Oh the messy hands and fun!

Love this idea I found! I laminated these sheets so the children could use white board markers. They are using dice with the actual numbers on it for now. This is helping them with number recognition. Then they have to write the number and then show how many. Next we will move to regular dot dice.
