🚨LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🏡 🚨

Felian is growing up fast and she's still in rescue and that's never something we want to happen.
We want her to grow up in her forever home🏡

This poor girl was rescued from Manitoulin Island...the owners could not find any place for the rest of her litter to go, so the other 5 litter mates were "disposed of". That information was not found out until she was being picked up. 5 innocent lives that didn't ask to be born lost their lives at 12 weeks of age because homes couldn't be found for them.

This whole scenario of someone thinking they can make a few extra $$ and then realizing that they can't even give the puppies away.

FELIAN 🩷 is alive though and she's here in the Parry Sound area being fostered and she needs to find her forever home 🏡.
She's 5 months old
She will not 🚫 be a big girl.
She's 31 pounds right now.
She's had all her vaccines.
The only thing that I can tell you that she has in her for sure is Aussie but her fur is not long though..she definitely has the merle colouring.

FELIAN is SMART as a whip!
Could see agility training in this girl's future if her new home was keen on it.
She also is a big suck 🩷
She's done her potty training
She loves car rides and could be your new ride or die companion.
She is growing up with cats 🐈‍⬛, kids and loves visiting with the neighbour dog.
She's doing well with her leash skills.
Good with people. Super friendly.
She actually "smiles" 😁...gotta love that.

What is a good home for Felian❓
She would do well in an active home 🏡 and would be an amazing hiking 🥾companion.
She has an active breed in her so getting exercise and the appropriate stimulants will be a must for her.
This sweet girl has so much potential.

*FELIAN is not old enough to be spayed yet so she will be under a spay contract with us. Her spay is INCLUDED in her adoption fee and when she is old enough to be spayed, we will be arranging for the spay to happen and paying for it.

Welcome PUGSLEY to Cottage Paws Rescue 🐾.
He sure is a big handsome hunk of a boy ♥️

This boy was an indoor/outdoor cat 🐈 that was being rehomed on a fb site. There were quite a few reasons *why* they were rehoming him and it could have been solved by keeping him inside - he's a nice cat. The whole discussion got crazy with huge opinions and of course the age old debate that once a cat goes outside, they can't be kept in. Bottom line is there are so many dangers outside for cats when they are left to roam that we can't control. It's a very fun life for a cat until it isn't and they *always* come home 🏡 until they don't and when they don't come home 🏡 it's never good.

Happy to say that Pugsley is INSIDE and will be living inside from now on and he's not 🚫 the least bit upset about it 🤷.
Pugsley is neutered - we were told that he was vaccinated when he was neutered and then again a year ago but there is no proof so we are taking care of that. He's a lovely hunk of a boy and has settled into his foster home 🏡nicely and loves head bumps and tummy rubs and isn't hiding anymore. He's believed to be 3ish years old.
Thank you 🙏🏿again Mindy & Kevin for stepping up so quickly to foster this boy.

🚨WINNIE UPDATE 🚨

Our sweet Winnie 🩷 is recovering well from her spay on Friday.
For this girl that was a momma to many many puppies that cycle has just ended and she can now "dog"

Thank you Page for spoiling Winnie and taking such good care of her - she lost a lot of blood during her spay :(and was pretty weak.

We have another appointment on June 8th to remove her sutures 🪡
At that time, if she's given the go ahead healthwise, Winnie 🩷 will be available for adoption.
Her foster mom, Page has been taking Winnie for lots of car 🚗 rides and apparently every stop 🛑 sign that they stop at, Winnie and that smooshie face of hers has been winning hearts ♥️.
Page has been yelling out the window, she will be up for adoption soon at Cottage Paws Rescue 🐾

The glow 🌟 up has begun for this girl and we can't wait to see what her new life (without having a litter of puppies every 6 months) is going to look like.
