There is some light being shone lately on why our foods are lacking in nutrient levels. Where once we could get enough potassium and iron from eating some broccoli now we need 3x that amount. Why?
Minerals for our body are often obtained by the foods we eat, the minerals content of the food is dependent on the soil it grows in. If the soil your food is grown in is depleted then you may not be getting enough of what your body needs to function properly.
One of the easiest ways to kick up your vitamins and minerals is to add Kelp to your kitchen or Kelp Drops to your cupboard. Its best known as a great source of Iodine but it also contains calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium.
