Exciting New Nature-Based, Garden focused Child Care Coming to Yellow Point 2027! 🌱

Hi, my name is Goldenrose. Im a mom of two and have been farming for over a decade. I’m exploring opening a licensed, home-based child care with a big focus on gardening, growing food and outdoor learning for kids ages 2.5 to 5 years old.

The program will run Tues, Wed, Thurs 8:30 am till 1:30 pm.

Im curious what kind of interest this has as it changes what type of license I apply for.

If you have little ones or know families who might be interested in a program thats fun, hands on and connected to nature, and growing food your input is greatly appreciated.

The long weekend is here and so is all our heat lovers and some added cool weathers on our farm stand🌱🍅 🌶️🫑
We are located in Yellow Point. 3920 Yellow Point Rd. The stand is located just off of Yellow Point Rd across from Barney Rd. Open 10am -7 pm. We will be open 7 days a week until the plants have found homes:) TOMATOES 🍅 are in 4 inch pots, hardened off and are $5. We have : Black Cherry, Yellow Pear, Gardeners Delight, Purple Bumblebee, Pink Bumblebee, Black Krim, Red Zebra, and Amish Paste. 🍅 We will have 6 packs for $5 of fully hardened off and ready to plant: Maxibel Fillet bush beans, Paris Island Romaine, Tamarindo lettuce and Cascadia sugar snap peas. In 4 inch pots for $5: Jerusalem Artichokes, Genovese Basil, Eggplant, Cayenne Peppers, Jalapeños, Red Bulls Horn Sweet Peppers and Tree onions $6. In 2.5 inch pots for $4: Sugar Pie Pumpkin, Spaghetti Squash, Zucchini, Delicata Squash, and Red Spear Sprouting Broccoli. CUCUMBERS 🥒: Tastey long English, Lemon Cucumbers, and Early Fortune Pickling. Strawberries bare root 10 for $10. We also have Farm Fresh Eggs for $6, Josta Berries, Tayberries and Black Currents in 3 gallon pots for $15. Its pay at the stand honour system or E transfer.
