Forty-one panels soaking up the sun on this beautiful day! Twenty-eight panels on the south side of the roof, and another thirteen on the east side. Even factoring in the shade coming from some very tall trees on the west side, which affects the late afternoon sun to the south array, this system still generates 16,000kWh per year! The system allows our customer to essentially live "off grid" by producing more energy than they typically use in a calendar year. Any excess energy their solar system generates that they don't use over the course of a year, BC Hydro pays them $0.9/kWh! (That's Net Metering)
