Supporting the next generation starts with creating opportunities to learn.
This spring, Neptune welcomed students from Capilano University and Carson Graham Secondary School for tours of our North Vancouver terminal, giving them a closer look at port operations and potential career paths in the industry.
We are also proud to provide hands-on work experience this year through co-op and summer student opportunities across areas such as Human Resources, Communications, Finance, and Capital Projects.
Thank you to the students who joined us, and to the Neptune team members helping share their knowledge along the way.

Say hi to Jatinder (JT) Sidhu, Operations Manager at Neptune.
JT has been part of the Neptune team since 2014, working across roles in both our Potash and Coal systems before taking on his current role overseeing day-to-day terminal operations and the safe movement of cargo.
Outside of work, JT recently made the North Shore home - and has been busy exploring the trails, restaurants, and local events this community has to offer with his family.

For more than 47 years, the North Shore has come together to celebrate Canada Day at the Shipyards - and this July 1 is no exception.
The Rotary Club of Lions Gate is once again hosting the annual Canada Day celebration at the foot of Lonsdale and into the Shipyards, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free, family-friendly event features local entertainers, kids' activities, food trucks, and community programming.
This year there is a special focus on staying active and healthy as excitement builds around the FIFA World Cup in Vancouver, with Canada Soccer on site bringing soccer-themed activities and energy to the waterfront. The Royal Canadian Navy will also be participating.
Neptune is proud to support this event alongside the many volunteers, local businesses, and community organizations that make it possible year after year.
We hope to see you there.
