Is it a UX problem or a positioning problem? Most teams are solving the wrong one.

Low conversion. High bounce. Weak retention. Both problems produce identical metrics, which is why teams keep misdiagnosing and spending six months on the wrong fix.

A UX problem means users understand what you're offering but can't get value from it. A positioning problem means they don't understand what you're offering, or why they should care.

Three questions separate the two: Do users drop before they try, or after? Can they describe your product accurately to someone else? Does the problem disappear with a walkthrough?

Fixing UX when you have a positioning problem is like rearranging furniture in a house nobody wants to live in.

AI collapsed the timeline. Research that took 3 weeks now takes 3 days. Prototyping that took 2 weeks now takes hours. The problem: every team has this. Speed is no longer the edge.

Winning teams aren't just moving faster, they're making better decisions, earlier. Speed without direction just means arriving at the wrong answer faster, and shipping it to more users, sooner.

The teams pulling ahead validate the problem before the solution, run research and build in parallel, and treat the first version as a question - shipping to learn, then deciding with real evidence.

This is where Interpix fits. We run the research that ensures the fast version you can ship is also the right one, and build systems that let speed compound instead of creating rework.

Speed is available to everyone now. Your direction is the edge.

There's a user your product was built for. They read every word of the onboarding. They enter valid data, complete every step in order, and already understand what the product does before they open it.

That user doesn't exist.

Real users mistype... then mistype again, because your error message said "invalid" without explaining why. They leave halfway through and come back in a different browser to find their session expired and their form gone. They don't understand what a field is asking for, because your team debated the label internally for 20 minutes and assumed that settled it.

Products don't fail in the flow. They fail in the cracks around it.

The error state that tells the user something went wrong without telling them what or how to fix it. The empty dashboard that loads completely and then just... waits. The edge case nobody thought about because it didn't come up in the prototype review.

The fix isn't complicated. It's just a different starting point: design the broken path first. Error states that explain and redirect. Empty states that teach and prompt. Edge cases that are deliberate, not discovered.

If your product works when everything goes wrong - wrong input, wrong order, wrong device, wrong moment - it works.
