Your Chiro isn’t moving your bones! 🦴❎
But, they are targeting your joints to improve movement and reduce pain… ✅
The Reality:
Chiropractors primarily work on joint mobility and spinal alignment, but they don’t “pop” bones back into place.
The goal of an adjustment is to restore movement to joints that may be stiff or restricted, helping reduce pain and improve function. The popping or cracking sound is typically the rapid release of tiny nitrogen bubbles that are present in the synovial fluid that lubricates our joints!
If something were truly “out of place,” it would likely require emergency medical attention, not a simple adjustment.
🙌 For Mobility & Pain Relief? Yes. For ‘Rearranging’ Your Bones? Nope.

Physio tip of the day✨
Did you know that poor posture can contribute to back pain, headaches, and even decreased energy levels? Maintaining good posture helps keep your spine aligned, reduces strain on muscles and ligaments, and can improve your overall well-being.
👨⚕️ Quick Posture Check:
1️⃣ Sit or stand up straight with your shoulders relaxed.
2️⃣ Keep your ears in line with your shoulders.
3️⃣ Engage your core muscles for added support.
4️⃣ Avoid slouching or leaning too far forward.
If you’re experiencing discomfort possibly related to posture, our physiotherapists and chiropractors can help with personalized assessments and exercises to keep you feeling your best!
