It's always a good day to celebrate our pollinators. This little bee was collecting pollen on Sulphur Mountain, Banff National Park, Alberta.

Christmas is a time of photo opportunities and what better fun is there than to let the kids become the creative directors and pose the scenes. It can lead to a lot of laughs. I especially love when moms and dads participate with the vision and let the kids lead the way.

In my experience, during a photo shoot, children pose themselves naturally better than any parent or photographer could instruct them to do.

I've been slow to share portraits these days, but here are some shots from a recent family photoshoot, taken while the trees were still green and the temperature was still balmy. These girls looked amazing in their jewel-toned dresses. Enjoy the silly photo at the end. Silly group photos are one of my favourite things, and definitely gives the kids something to smile about!
