As many of you, my mom, Moonstar, has been sick for some time now. On top of the multiple cancer diagnoses we’ve faced, she also lives in debilitating chronic pain, as well as many other health issues that made her road to recovery near impossible.

Moonstar has made the courageous and dignified choice to leave this life just as she has lived it, on her own terms. While we only have a few weeks left together as a family, we’re going to savour every laugh, cheesy joke and hug we can get.

Our friends have set up a Go Fund Me to help ease the financial costs of travelling to North Bay, our accommodations, Mom’s living wake, and everything that follows once she’s started her journey to the spirit world.
