When I first started creating content online, I made the same mistake so many founders make.

I copied what everyone else was doing because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.

But it was exhausting and didn’t feel like me at all!

So I made the call, if I was going to commit to building a brand, I needed to do it my way...regardless if people liked it or not.

And little did I know, that would become one of the best decisions I ever made.

Content feels easier now because I’m not performing.

I’m not trying to fit into someone else’s strategy, voice, or version of success.

I’m showing up as myself.

And because of that, I attract better clients, better opportunities, and better people into my world.

At the end of the day, stop overthinking it and trust yourself.

That is the beauty of a personal brand.

No one does it better than you.

Real estate investing looks exciting when you’re talking about the purchase, the potential, the cash flow, the equity, and the long-term wealth.

But this is the part people don’t always see.

After two back-to-back storms and flooding all over Ottawa, we went to check on one of our rental properties that’s currently for sale.
