It’s been a minute! My page has been pretty quiet the last few months as I’ve been navigating some major life changes and, honestly, dealing with a bit of a creative slump. But—good news! My partner and I just bought our first home! 🎉🏡 The inspiration for this piece actually hit when I was brainstorming a gift for our home inspector, who was such a tremendous support throughout this entire process.

This piece is a nod to the first house we had an offer accepted on (which, unfortunately, didn’t work out). Buying a home is such a wild ride—full of ups, downs, and unexpected twists—but all the stress and heartbreak made finally landing our own place that much sweeter.

Growing up in Georgian Bay and getting to spend a lot of time in Chapleau, I had the incredible privilege of being surrounded by water and witnessing some of the most breathtaking sunsets. These earrings remind me of the vivid purple and orange skies I used to chase as a child and the profound peace I felt in those moments.

Some pieces are harder to part with than others—looks like I’ll have to make myself a pair 🤷🏼‍♀️. These earrings feature 17 different bead colors, each carefully chosen to capture the beauty of the landscape. The beads that form the water are translucent and shimmering, catching the light to make them look like waves. The clouds transform beautifully in sunlight, revealing an iridescent purple glow 🌅
