Two weeks ago I gave birth to my baby girl! 🫶🤍✨

She came 4 days before her due date and caught me STILL working. 🤭

I really thought I could keep going until the last minute (the swollen ankles in these photos taken a couple of weeks before should have been a warning sign 🥹😆)

I had to cancel my last design meeting, but thankfully my clients and trades have been very graceful and we will restart in the fall.

On the meantime, we are getting ready for our first family photoshoot this weekend at with the talented who also captured these photos of me in the latest setups.

Quick birth summary: it was on a Sunday night. Contractions started at midnight and I laboured overnight alone in my living room until about 6am. At 7am I got into a warm bath seeking relief and my water broke. By the time we got to the hospital at 9am I was at 4.5cm dilated. An hour later I was at 8cm! They encouraged me to do all natural because I was progressing so quickly but I got scared and took the epidural which only half took, since it was so late in the process. However not being completely numbed helped me push soo much, we started at 12:55pm and after 9 mins of pushing she was born at 1:04pm on May 25 2025! 🫶✨🤍 it was fast and magical and I was able to bond with her immediately and walked on my own an hour later. We went home that same day since everything went so smoothly! Adjusting to life with 2 under 2 has been harder than my 2nd labour 😂🤭 wouldn’t change a thing!
