Super thrilled to have been a small part of the Clarence-Rockland Firefighter Combat Challenge event today at Parc Simon in Rockland. Great to see so many participants out, and a great spectator crowd! Well done to all competitors! Thanks to Marc Saumure and Brian Wilson for volunteering to be the medical standby crew today!
GlobeCorp Rescue is exploring offering a Canadian Red Cross First Responder to Emergency Medical Responder bridge course(s) primarily focused on existing firefighters who wish to further expand their medical knowledge, or to pre-service graduates looking to better prepare themselves for a career in emergency services. This program meets or exceeds the Paramedic Association of Canada’s National Occupancy Competency Profile for Emergency Medical Responders.
Pre-requisites are to already have your Red Cross First Responder (must be valid).
We are just exploring interest at this time, course would likely be held in Rockland or Orleans, and is 40-hours of instructional time. Two options are available: Mon-Fri, or split weekends. Cost would be $550+tax, printed manuals are available to purchase as well.
