Operation Hope — Story Two

When we submit our time and ministry to the Lord, we never know how He will choose to minister through us. This is one of those beautiful times when God intervened in a powerful way through a pregnancy test appointment. Hear what one client had to say:

“I just wanted to thank First Place Options for the exceptional care yesterday. I can't express how much it meant to me! I had a really good talk with my boyfriend last night and we laid some strong, clear boundaries, so that we can honour our desires to honour the Lord.

Later in the evening I went to a small group with my church and we were doing a Bible study on Jonah. I felt so seen and convicted by the Lord. I have seen the consequences of my rebellion and disobedience, and it was really not fun. I also saw how the Lord never stopped pursuing Jonah, like He never stops pursuing me.

I thank the Lord for the work He is doing through you and through First Place Options! It has encouraged and inspired me, and it truly spoke peace, light, and love into my soul.

Thank you for being a safe place where I could go to talk and get help! I will never forget this. This is a really great ministry and I will be praying for it. I really believe in the work that you guys are doing!”

Today, we pause to say thank you.

To the moms in the middle of sleepless nights, messy homes, and tired hearts, thank you for loving so deeply, day after day.

To the new moms, single moms, foster and adoptive moms, and the moms whose children are now grown, your sacrifice, strength, and care matter more than words can say.

And to those who carry grief or longing today, we see you too. Mother’s Day can hold both joy and ache, sometimes at the same time.

Motherhood looks different for every story, but love is what ties them all together.
