Two years ago, right after I moved from Montreal to Ottawa, I reupholstered a bright yellow chair for Nick. He loved it and now, two years later, he came back to my studio with his wife.

This time, they were looking for a special birthday gift for her 94-year-old mother.
“This is her throne,” they told me. “She absolutely loves this chair, but it definitely needs a refresh.”
We carefully chose the fabric together, and now the chair is bringing joy to the birthday lady once again. Wishing her strong health and many happy moments ahead!
