Dreamers walk Canada is joining the Ottawa TTim Horton’s Dragon Boat Festival this year. We are down a couple of paddlers and looking. PRACTICE this Saturday at Rideau Canoe club located at 804 hogs back 2 PM.

On Friday May 29th, the City marked AccessAbility Day, celebrating 23 years of recognizing the leadership, accomplishments, and lived experiences of people with disabilities who contribute so much to our community. BuildAble was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing day at City Hall!
This week, Councillor Marty Carr introduced a Notice of Motion directing the City to explore a partnership with StopGap Ottawa. The organization works to improve accessibility by providing portable ramps to small businesses with single-step entrances, helping make local establishments more welcoming and accessible to all. Thank you to Kyle Humphrey for his advocacy, expertise, and support in advancing this initiative!! Way to go!!
The motion will be considered by Council on June 10!
BuildAble looks forward to continuing its collaboration with colleagues, members of the public, and the City to advance and strengthen accessibility across Ottawa.
