Did you know that Cadenza Strings was founded nearly 20 years ago by two besties from Canterbury High School who loved playing chamber music together?

Over the course of the last two decades, founders Brenna Hardy-Kavanagh and Sonya Matoussova have moved cities, countries, and even continents (!) countless times, but Cadenza Strings continued to provide top-notch live music services in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto.

Sonya and Brenna both recently returned to the National Capital Region, and are excited to resume their musical collaborations. First up: a long-overdue makeover of Cadenza Strings — the project that started it all!
