Always something different… a carved leather tie for an upcoming prom.

Occasionally, I get asked to create an item that incorporates client supplied elements. This time around, I was asked to create a leather strap for a custom made guitar, and I was given the piece of fabric (cherished by my client) from Africa.
One the back end, a strap end that mimics the shape of the neck where it meets the body, with monogram. The other end has a formed pouch for a capo, with a snap closure, and braided lace to connect at the head of the guitar. An elegant accent I’m quite proud of.

My client was looking for a rustic leather wedding album, using motif they used on their special day. It was heartwarming to see the reaction on her face when she came pick it up.
