This is me this week. I gauge how much under the weather I am feeling by whether or not I can sew…nope, no sewing happening.
Next week I should be able to be back at it.

Of course I had to stop at a charity shop on my way home. At this rate it will take me forever to reach home 😂

I can’t go anywhere without finding a charity shop. Picked up this handmade Lone Star quilt which will likely make a stunning coat.

My time away is coming to an end. It was a busy whirlwind week spending time with my girls, their husbands and 4 of my grandchildren.

💫 This denim tote is made from a jean jacket, I incorporated the label into the front ✨

The addition of belt loops from jeans gives a spot to having something clipped to them or use them to hang your sunglasses.

Upcycling denim lends itself to each bag being unique as the style and colour of the denim varies from one piece to the other.

What do you think a corduroy bag or a mix of corduroy and denim? Maybe not a tote bag but one a little smaller.
