Rainy days on the farm.

They usually involve cuddled up with a good book, a large pot of homemade soup simmering on the stove and endless mugs of tea to warm the bones.

Layers of clothes are applied to go out and do chores, feed the animals and making sure everyone is bedded down and warm.

Finally, once all the animals are checked returning to the farmhouse to seek a warm, dry spot and showing some gratitude for the moisture for our fields.
