Really appreciate the partnership between the City, snpink’tn Indian Band, 100 Homes Penticton, and community partners. This is a step in the right direction from the Province to start addressing the concerns of our community. There is still more work to be done and I know people are upset and angry by the challenge the City is facing. I appreciate the people who have emailed council and shared their concerns. I hear the frustration and this challenge is on the top of my mind. The City is continuing to work towards a Heart & Hearth program with the Province to decamp the Fairview encampment.
