Ontario homeowners: 2026 heat pump rebates are available.
You may qualify for up to $7,500 on a qualifying cold climate air source heat pump or up to $12,000 on a qualifying ground source heat pump through the Home Renovation Savings program.
Rebate amounts vary based on your current heating source, which means the savings available to one home may look different from another.
For homes currently heated with electricity, oil, propane, or wood, incentives for qualifying cold climate air source heat pumps are listed at $1,250 per ton, up to $7,500.
For homes heated with natural gas, incentives are listed at $500 per ton, up to $2,000.
