Generation Solar was recently presented with a Sustainability Catalyst award at the Green Economy Peterborough annual Leadership in Sustainability awards celebration. This year was the 5th anniversary event and the Sustainability Catalyst award was given in appreciation of members who consistently enrich the network through engagement, learning, storytelling, and connection.

Helping farmers harvest energy.

Do we still offer all of these? Not exactly. The industry has evolved, and so have we.

But here's what hasn't changed: farmers across this region are still running water pumps, fences, aerators, and heating systems. The difference today is that a net metered solar system can generate enough electricity to power all of it, and then some.

Over 25 years later, we're still helping farmers harvest energy. Just with better tools.
