I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone that supported me in our prep for Mont Blanc, what a journey it’s been.

To our guides and friends we met at the Arc’teryx Academy clinics in Chamonix, to our guide friends Filippo and Giorgia who supported us on the climb, and to the Polish crew who became our good friends: Aleksander, Wojtek, and Filip - you all made this trip to France one I’ll never forget.

Sometimes people can feel down after a big expedition - but lately, I haven’t been feeling that same “lull” after trip.

Ever since I’ve adopted the mentality of focusing on my one goal of experiencing, I’ve been able to stay in the present and find the joy in the situation.

Of course, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows, but no matter what the weather is, if my breath still flows and blood still moves in my veins then I know that sunshine is out there.

Whether you see it outside of you or not doesn’t matter, as long as you remember to look inward you’ll never lose sight of it again.
