The Street reference are inexpensive factory replacement speakers that are a big improvement over original speakers, due to their high sensitivity and bright tweeter. They come in at a low budget, but they've really impressed us for the money.

The MB-M series subwoofers are killer performers, powerful subs that sound smooth and realistic when paired with a ported enclosure. Grilles available separately. Come have a listen to the one we've got on display!

This week in Northern Automotive Technologies

Today I installed a XAV-AX4000 Radio into a 2015 Audi Q5. Most shops will tell you they can't change the radio in this one. I can. You lose the MMI screen, but this car wasn't equipped with MMI so we didn't lose much, and gained wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto in the process, as well as great sound and a beautiful flush look.

The next pictures are a complete system I designed and installed into a brand new 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. These are Hex series amplifiers with their beautiful extruded aluminum heat sinks for that copper or rose gold finish installed into the storage compartments of the back seat backrest, one in each side. Handling mids and highs are the HX600.4 and the subs are taken care of via an HX800.1 for a total of 1400 RMS watts. The front doors have inside them the equally beautiful H65S Hex series components, with the rears handled by the Elite series coaxials. The subs are a pair of Elite series shallow 12"s sitting inside of a King Box LineX coated vehicle specific enclosure. The entire system is controlled by a by DSP.3S, which takes a microphone tuned profile to compensate for cabin gain, standing waves, Time alignment to the drivers ear, and also provides the OEM Bose amplifier with the feedback it needs in order not to report a problem and thus cause issues during play.

That GMC didn't have a whole lot more to take pictures of due to it looking completely like an original truck other than the sub box, so my apologies if it doesn't look like very much, but believe me, we have a very happy customer with the stunning sounding truck Bose couldn't deliver.
