Picton Recreation Committee

We are so proud that 99.3 County FM (CJPE-FM) is sponsoring the stage at this year’s Canada Day celebration on Picton Main Street, happening Wednesday, July 1 from 12–4pm.

A true community voice, County FM is a volunteer-driven, non-profit radio station based right here in Prince Edward County. Broadcasting at 99.3 MHz since 2014, the station reaches across the entire County with a focus on local music, stories, and community connection.

Run by the Prince Edward County Radio Corporation and supported by more than 85 volunteers, County FM is one of the largest community radio stations in Canada. Its programming highlights everything from local news and agriculture updates to beloved shows like Grapevine and an eclectic mix of music spanning folk, country, and global sounds.

We’re thrilled to have 99.3 County FM help bring the soundtrack to Canada Day in Picton as we celebrate together in the heart of the community.
