As if I don't see enough hoppers in a day! Stumbled upon this Snowshoe Hare and it's sibling! The local Hare population seems high this year! 🐇 ❤️

Massive reset in the rabbitry over the last two weeks!
Reduced the herd by 37% (home slaughtered, some sold and the government inspected slaughter group). Shuffled everyone, divided kits fairly equally among growout cages with does and bucks all separate for this round. Weaned a few litters. Things are looking pretty comfortable and easily manageable at the moment! Can't believe I am saying that with 140 Rabbits.... 🤯
Now to update the records with this week's weights and add the latest weanlings into the book! And I apparently need more paper, 🤣

So... we did a thing!!!

We took a batch of our rabbits to be slaughtered at a government inspected facility!

So, we have processed "Rabbit" available!!!

Available whole (fresh- until Sunday [July 12] only) or frozen.

Carcass weights range from 2.5 to 4lbs!
