Today, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the family and friends of Terry Wozney for the incredibly generous donations made to the Prince George Humane Society in Terry’s memory during his Celebration of Life.

Terry’s love for animals was undeniable. They weren’t just pets—they were his family, his companions, and a huge part of his life. When Terry passed away, it was our privilege to welcome four of his beloved animals into our care and ensure they received the love and support they deserved.

Johnny, a handsome Shepherd/Husky cross, and Cash, Johnny’s son, a Great Pyrenees/Husky cross, are both wonderful, loving boys. They simply need the right home with a secure yard where they can safely enjoy life.

Fuzzy, one of Terry’s cats, also came into our care. As we got to know her, we also discovered she had developed an inoperable tumour on her forehead. Today, Fuzzy is spending her remaining time in a loving foster home, where she is being spoiled and surrounded by comfort, dignity, and love.

Dolly, Fuzzy’s mom, was a tiny, gentle soul with the sweetest, quietest little meow that melted everyone’s heart.

A very special thank you goes to Terry’s sister, Carol, whose love, compassion, and dedication ensured that Terry’s beloved companions were cared for after his passing. She worked tirelessly to make sure his final wish—that his animals would be safe and looked after—became a reality. We are so grateful for the trust she placed in us during such a difficult time.

To Terry’s family, friends, and everyone who made a donation in his memory, thank you. Your generosity is a beautiful tribute to a man whose compassion for animals was evident throughout his life. Your gifts will help provide food, medical care, shelter, and hope to countless animals who will need us in the future.

Terry’s legacy will live on not only through the memories shared by those who loved him, but also through every animal that receives a second chance because of the kindness shown in his honour.

From all of us at the Prince George Humane Society, thank you for allowing us to be part of Terry’s story and for helping us continue our mission of caring for animals in need. ❤️🐾
