For those of you who are affected by downturn in economy due to COVID19, tomorrow is the online registration for the Emergency Response Benefit. One thing to note is this is a taxable benefit that will have to be filed with your 2020 income tax filing next year.

Just released from Federal Government, Income tax returns have been extended by one month for 2019 filings. Deadline for filing is now June 1 2020 with interest free period for taxes owing being extended to August 31 2020 to help alleviate schedules and payment complications as a result of the COVID19 pandemic.
