Le 10 juin dernier, dans le cadre du festival Rock for People à Hradec Králové, nous avons eu le plaisir d'assister à la finale de Planetrox Europe 2026. Quatre groupes issus de différents coins de l'Europe se sont partagé la scène devant le jury et le public afin de décrocher leur place à Envol et Macadam 2026.

Au programme : Taking Back August (Roumanie), IANWILL (France), LAZYWALL (France/Maroc) et LUTHER (Allemagne), qui a finalement remporté les honneurs de cette édition.

Voici quelques photos de cette finale mémorable qui a une fois de plus démontré la richesse et la diversité de la scène rock internationale émergente. 🤘

One final band to discover ahead of the Planetrox Europe final taking place on Wednesday, June 10 at Rock for People.

Meet Lazywall, a Moroccan rock trio delivering a unique fusion of alternative rock and Arabic influences, blending oriental time signatures, traditional instruments, and powerful guitar-driven sounds. Singing in Arabic, the band tackles themes such as social injustice, integration, and environmental issues with an intensity that transcends language barriers.

Formed by three brothers originally from Tangier, the band has made its mark internationally with performances at major festivals, including SXSW, building a sound that bridges Eastern traditions and modern rock energy.

Un dernier groupe à découvrir en prévision de la finale de Planetrox Europe qui se déroulera le mercredi 10 juin au festival Rock for People.

Voici Lazywall, un trio rock originaire du Maroc qui propose un mélange unique de rock alternatif et d’influences arabes, combinant signatures rythmiques orientales, instruments traditionnels et guitares puissantes. Chantant en arabe, le groupe aborde des thèmes forts comme les injustices sociales, l’intégration ou les enjeux environnementaux, avec une intensité qui dépasse les barrières linguistiques et culturelles.

Formé par trois frères originaires de Tanger, le groupe s’est démarqué sur la scène internationale avec des prestations dans plusieurs festivals européens et une présence remarquée au SXSW. Leur musique, à la croisée des cultures, crée un véritable pont entre traditions orientales et énergie rock moderne.

The Planetrox Europe final will take place on June 10 at Rock for People in the Czech Republic!
Until then, we’ll introduce the four finalist bands who will take the stage for a chance to perform at Envol et Macadam in Québec City this September.

We kick things off with IANWILL, a French band delivering powerful metal infused with metalcore and death influences, combining hard-hitting melodic compositions with modern djent-inspired sounds. Known for their intense live performances and technical approach, the band stands out with a raw and emotionally charged sound.
