Now that I have your attention….

Our own local hospital is asking for help and if you’ve ever spent time in the hospital — or had a child admitted — then you know how boring, uncomfortable, and stressful it can be.

A small gift like an art kit, colouring book, puzzle, or game can make a huge difference for a child staying in care.

Something simple can ease anxiety, provide comfort, and bring a moment of happiness during a scary time.

We’re collecting supplies for the Pediatrics Unit at Red Deer Regional Health Foundation.

If everyone who follows us donated just $1, we could purchase more than 400 items for kids in the hospital.

You can help in two ways:
• Purchase items from the wish list and drop them off by May 31
• Send a monetary donation toward a bulk purchase we’ll be doing on June 1

All items will be delivered together on June 2.

If you’d like to contribute financially, please contact me for e-transfer information by May 31.

I saw this while doom scrolling today…

Without any thought we decided that this is a cause that we are going to help.

Then it occurred to me that we have over 1600 followers that maybe don’t know that the Red Deer hospital is asking for help. So I’d like to encourage and invite any and all of our followers to join in to make a donation that will really make a difference.

We would like to make a drop off to the hospital June 2. If you’d like to help out we will accept items from the list until May 31 or you can etransfer any amount and we will buy all the items at once.

I know we have a ton of amazing followers so I’m looking forward to seeing how many items we can get for the kids!
