MTC Contracting

We are looking for a Carpenter with extensive experience in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Renovations and Construction. We are located in Red Deer Alberta.

Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan framing layouts and material requirements
• Construct, assemble, and install wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
• Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Coordinate with project manager and other trades to maintain project timelines
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized job site
• Provide progress updates and submit invoices for completed work
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges while adapting to changing project conditions.

• Interested in ongoing project opportunities and taking on larger scopes of work over time

Qualifications
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial renovations/construction
• Knowledge of framing systems, building materials, and construction safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with others on-site
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
