The Honourable Mohamed has spent her career advocating for inclusion and opportunity, shaped by a family history of displacement and a story rooted in resilience and service.
Her perspective is clear: “Don’t judge someone’s potential by where they come from. Refugees bring entrepreneurial thinking and perspectives that can move organizations forward.”
As Senator Mohamed says best, Canada’s economy has been built by newcomers and refugees for generations, and continues to be strengthened by them today.
