Twenty Saskatchewan students just found out their community has their back.

Access Communications is proud to announce our 2026 Doug Alexander Scholarship recipients. This year, twenty students each received $1,000 in recognition of their academic achievement and their commitment to the communities they call home.
This year's recipients reminded us exactly why this program exists. Hearing from them makes it clear that recognizing young people for the work they put into their communities matters.

The Doug Alexander Scholarship Program honours the memory of our former Community Relations Manager who spent his career championing youth development across Saskatchewan. This year's recipients come from communities right across the province, from Rocanville to Tompkins, Carrot River to Leader.

Access awards $27,000 in scholarships annually, with additional post-secondary awards through the Fred Wagman Scholarship Program at the University of Regina and scholarships at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
