We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking 2nd Cook / Housekeeper to join our camp team. This role is a combination of kitchen support and housekeeping duties, essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient camp environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare breakfast items and assist with lunch prep (sandwiches, wraps, snacks, baked goods)
• Label, organize, restock, and ensure proper food storage (discard outdated items)
• Support Chef with dinner prep and assist during meal service
• Wash dishes and maintain dishwashing and kitchen sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, and service stations
• Restock coffee/tea stations, condiments, and supplies
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen, dining, and common areas
• Perform housekeeping duties (bedrooms, bathrooms, mirrors, showers, toilets)
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, etc.)
• Vacuum, wash floors, and remove garbage/recycling
• Maintain entryways, common spaces, and auxiliary areas (e.g., dump shack, wash car)
• Complete daily and monthly cleaning checklists
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous camp, kitchen, and housekeeping experience is an asset
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote camp environment
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and repetitive cleaning
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Valid Food Safe Certification
• Valid First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Valid WHMIS Certification
• Valid Drivers License
• Local to the Okanagan Area (or willing to travel to)
