“For The Record” is a collection of songs written over the last 9 years. I have come to love writing albums that feel cohesive from start to finish, like chapters of the same book, tied together by emotion, growth, memory, and reflection.

Songwriting has always been a release for me. Although something that is important to me for my listeners to know, is that sometimes songs capture emotions I’m not overly proud of, but I’ve learned that if I don’t write honestly, I don’t write at all. Music has given me a place to process life in its rawest moments, and while that vulnerability can be terrifying, it has been unbelievably healing and extremely meaningful hearing how listeners connect my songs to their own lives.
Thank you so very much for listening, supporting me, and allowing these songs to live beyond just me.

Id like to express a special thankyou to my wonderful husband Jamie, for being my biggest supporter and never loosing his enthusiasm for my music, despite hearing the same song hundreds of times.
