Don’t be apart of the problem!☝🏻

Of course we will never be able to fix every animal but Atleast we’ve helped a few!

Stay tuned as I await my next sweater drop! ⬇️

Hopefully can announce tomorrow 💜

Here in Edmonton we are experience spring weather BUT that does not mean that winter is over. We will be getting winter temperatures very soon. It is IMPORTANT to know the signs of cold intolerance in your dog!

We have been getting a lot of questions on when and what temperature is considered too cold for your dog.

Well the their is No straight answer for this question. As every breed can tolerate different temperatures differently, every dog is different (even the same breed dogs). Where they grew up, a dog that was raised from California and the same breed that was raised in Alaska or any other colder geographical location will handle the same temperature differently. The age and health of the dogs have a big impact as well, puppies and senior dogs body can't regulate their own body temperature as well as a mature healthy dog. The same goes for a dog that has a disease or injured. Or an indoor dog will get colder faster than a dog that works/live outside. The time of day, night time will be colder than the day time, a sunny day compared to a cloudy windy day.

Here are some signs that your dog is cold. YES even in -10C or -5C!
Whining or anxious sounds.
Lifting their paws off the surface.
Shivering.
Reluctant to move.
Tail down or tucked between the legs. Or for dogs that have a short tail, their bums will be clenched inwards.
Paw pads and coat contain snow and/or ice.
Asking to go back inside.
It ultimately comes down to, YOU know your dog the best! Listen and watch their behaviors. If they look cold, they are! When in doubt it is safer to bring them inside and go outside again at a later time.
