For generations, Saskatchewan's community newspapers have celebrated local achievements, reported on important issues, and connected people and communities through shared stories.
Strong communities start with informed communities.
Last week, we brought you news about the RM of Montmartre being fined for a workplace injury that happened in 2023. We were the only media in the courtroom when the decision was handed down.

📰Community newspapers are at the heart of the communities they serve. They help keep residents connected, celebrate local successes, support community initiatives, and share the stories that matter most close to home.
Today, we want to give a special shoutout to The Outlook! We recently received this wonderful message from a community member:
“As a member of the Outlook-Rudy Firehall Fundraising Committee, I want to give a shout-out to The Outlook for its coverage of this community campaign. We couldn't have done this without the community awareness and support provided by our local newspaper. Take a look at the weekly Firehall Feature running right now! Sincerely John L.
Thank you to The Outlook and to all community newspapers for the important role you play in helping communities stay informed, connected, and supported every single week.
