SYO Alumni & Friends Summer Orchestra
Calling all low brass, first clarinets
Concert will raise money for SYO fee assistance and St. Michael Community School Metis Fiddling Program
What a great orchestra we have shaping up!
It's a great mix of alumni (16), community friends (5), current and brand new SYO players (28).
This orchestra has at least one alum from each of the past five decades!
We are happy to announce our community music group partner this year will be St. Michael Community School Metis Fiddling program!
Our own violin alumnus Dru Waltz (2018-2022) is the fiddle instructor for the program.
Half of the proceeds of our ticket sales will help the school buy new fiddle strings, work books, etc.
We are helping give the gift of music to local kids!!
What we still need:
Our orchestra is fairly well rounded, but we would love to have more clarinets, trumpets and especially some low brass!

Concert Day: Saturday, June 20, Quance Theatre

We are so lucky to have the Penderecki String Quartet coming to perform in the Regina Chamber Music Festival! As a part of their visit they will be working with the RSS students, offering their expertise!
There is still time to register for RSS and get the amazing opportunity to work with this professional group!
