Old Eyeliner Cover-up. 🤎
This client had eyeliner done many years ago( not by me). To hear about her experience was frankly shocking. She said it was incredibly painful and she was not happy with the outcome. Because the technician used extreme pressure, incorrect needle angle and black tattoo ink, this client was left with uneven, electric blue liner with blowout (furry/blurry looking pigment) . Often times cases like this cannot be fixed however this particular lovely has the perfect eye shape and color (as well as her personal style) to totally rock a soft, smoky bold liner. To create a softer, smoky look I used an espresso brown creating softness and minimizing the bluish tones.

🚨Why I don’t want your permanent brows to last forever…

That probably sounds pretty wild coming from a permanent makeup artist, right? 🤔
But hear me out! After 10 years in the PMU industry, I’ve seen exactly what happens when pigment builds up over years of repeated touchups. 🫣

Every single touchup adds more pigment to the skin. If your brows never fade, that pigment gets packed in tight. Overtime, that leaves us with zero flexibility, and your Brows can start looking heavy, saturated, and unnatural.

That’s why I intentionally use high-quality pigments designed to soften and fade gracefully. A quicker, cleaner fade means that when you come back to see me, I can easily refresh your Brows, adjust your shape as your face matures, and keep your brows, adjust your shape as your face matures, and keep your eyebrows looking soft and natural forever. 😎

I LOVE this client story — and why I donate to community causes. Beyond the belief in giving back, it’s meaningful when clients notice and choose an artist who cares. Five years ago Alyssia won an eyebrow procedure in a Facebook auction that supported a little girl’s service dog. We did her brows that day, and she’s been a loyal client ever since!

Note on the photos: her skin looks red immediately post‑procedure — it may look dramatic, but it isn’t painful. I use strong numbing; better numbing can cause blanching and make redness more visible. I share unedited, fresh results so clients see realistic healing across different skin types. Over‑Photoshopped images set unrealistic expectations — fresh permanent makeup rarely looks smooth and clear right away, and that’s normal, especially for more fair skinned clients. But don’t worry - this redness fades within a few hours.

Yes, even if it costs me money!

The permanent makeup industry is still heavily under regulated, and unfortunately, not every artist is practising safely behind closed doors. 😔

When you book an appointment with me, you aren’t just paying for an aesthetic result, you’re paying for an artist who values your skin, your self esteem, and your health above all else. 🌱

Here are the five reasons I routinely decline bookings to protect my clients:

✅1. Your skin over my balance sheet: I decline touchups if your brows still look good and your skin doesn’t need more pigment yet. I will also say no if a technique doesn’t align with your lifestyle or a long-term healed results.

✅2. If you are looking for heavy, blocky, ultra-glam brows, I am proudly not the artist for you: I treat cosmetic tattooing as a lifelong commitment, which means I approach your skin with long-term strategy, not short – term trends.

✅3. No “sharpie” Brows: Your PMU shouldn’t look heavily make-upped 24/7. It’s normal to add makeup for a bolder-glam night out, but your base should look natural, always.

✅4. The muddy layering trap: Layering fresh pigment over another artist old work, usually leads to heavy, blurry, muddy, brows over time. In many cases, I can’t help you without laser tattoo removal first, (but that’s OK, I have solutions for you!). You came to me for a reason – natural looking - and I won’t do anything unless I can give you just that.

✅5. Behind the scene sterilization IS Paramount because breaking the skin carries real infection risks. Strict sanitization, and proper sterilization are never optional in my studio.

Weather, I am designing nano Brows to beautifully frame your face or putting back what has been lost due to chemotherapy, trichotomania, alopecia, or scarring I treat every client with long-term care. Permanent makeup isn’t a harsh, scary, lifelong commitment – it’s simply “permanent“ because it doesn’t wash off like traditional makeup. It lasts for a few years, feeding beautifully overtime.
