Huge thanks to the South Nutana Park Community Association and the Prince Philip School Community Council for putting on a great BBQ and carnival every year. The community always shows up and my assembly line skills were certainly put to the test last night!

It was an incredible experience to see Eastview resident Harold Orr receive our province’s highest honour, the Saskatchewan Order of Merit. During his career as an engineer, Harold completely transformed residential housing construction through his work on energy efficient buildings.
He is known across the country for his vision and impact, and I was proud to support his nomination. Congratulations Harold!
A new report from CUPE Education Workers shows that their members are performing a variety of medical and personal care procedures on students, often with little or no training from a medical professional.
We know that school boards, division leaders and school staff are doing everything they can to support students, but they simply can’t do it all without the right supports from the province.
This is a result of more than a decade of cuts in education and a Sask Party government that is offloading medical care to schools. It’s time for the government to get to the table with healthcare, education workers and school boards to ensure that the resources our students need are available.

In Alberta, more than 50 per cent of members surveyed by the provincial Chamber of Commerce said talk of separating is having a negative impact on the economy.
