For more than a decade, Saskatchewan has been quietly building what meaningful access to justice reform requires.
The SK Access to Justice Network has been fostering the relationships, shared learning, and collaborative approaches that make lasting change possible - experience that is now helping to inform a broader national dialogue.
A new report released today from the Action Committee on Access to Justice / Comité d'action sur l'accès à la justice highlights the critical role of Access to Justice Collaboratives across Canada - bringing stakeholders together to share lessons, identify common challenges, and explore how to strengthen this work moving forward.
A key takeaway: progress depends not only on new programs or policies, but also on the often unseen work of coordination, knowledge-sharing, and collective problem-solving.
As collaboratives continue to evolve across the country, Saskatchewan’s long-standing experience offers valuable insight into what it takes to move ideas into action.
