The Saskatoon Rowing Club, the Saskatoon Competitive Canoe Club and the Saskatoon Canoe Club were proud to host a grand opening event/ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of our new boat dock in Victoria Park on Saturday!

The new dock is a legacy project for our Clubs, which was made possible because of the countless volunteer hours from our dock replacement committee members and the generous contributions from the many donors to the project. The project was supported by a major grant from the Federal Government though PrairiesCan and by grants from the City of Saskatoon and the 1989 Jeux Canada Games Foundation.

The new dock will allow the sports of rowing, kayaking and canoing to continue to thrive in Saskatoon for decades to come, while expanding our Clubs' ability to provide para-athlete programming.

The SRC thanks everyone that helped make our new dock a reality! A massive shoutout to SRC members Dave Ukrainetz, Doug Zolinski, Stuart Walker, Bruce Acton, and Sash Broda who led this project from start to finish including planning, development, fundraising, and construction.
