Thinking back to about a year ago, I thought I’d never have the time to put into my horses again. As a first time, newly postpartum mom, recovering from an emergency c-section on top of being a touring musician, I hardly rode. The guilt of “wasting my horses potential sitting in the pasture” set in as it does for most - but let’s get real, they didn’t mind the time off.

Fast forward a year later. I’ve swung my leg over my horse this spring almost as much as I did all year last year
But time still isn’t what it used to be. I’m not sure what we did with all our time before having a baby but I’m learning just how fast it goes by and trying my best to soak up all the special moments like this 💕
