JOB POSTING: Accounting and purchasing

We are looking to hire another team member to VOCE Developments Corp. Can you please pass this on / tag anyone who you feel would be a good fit looking for a demanding yet rewarding career.

VOCE Developments is a multi faceted construction company that is doing residential and commercial construction across Saskatchewan for the past 8 years. We are looking to find a qualified team member to be part of our growing work family. Throughout the year we will complete anywhere from 40-60 projects a year ranging in value from $25,000 up to as much as $5,000,000. VOCE Developments employs 24 employees and that includes our own Lumber Yard located in Outlook, Saskatchewan.

In this position the successful individual will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience completing Payroll, Month Ends, Year Ends, Reconciling bank statements and credit cards, producing cost reports, GST & PST filing and basic inventory management. Currently we use QuickBooks Accounting Software and we would like to see a minimum of 5 years experience in working with QuickBooks. In addition to accounting work, we would like you to take on specific project rolls that include but aren't limited to monitoring project status' and issuing POs / ordering materials in a timely manner to keep projects flowing & working with designers, project managers and site supervisors on determining what needs to be ordered at the proper time to keep the project flowing smoothly.

This position is full-time, can be demanding but is very rewarding when we have a happy customer. This is a full time position that can be completed both in the office or at home. Ideally we would prefer you to work out of the office however when circumstances arise and you need to work from home, we can be flexible.
Wages are dependent on experience - Hourly wages will not be less than $30 / hour and could be as high as $40 / hour for the right candidate.

Having an accounting designation would be advantageous and could push you over the $40 / hour pay schedule - but it is not necessary. We are looking for someone with experience who can continue to bring energy to our team and passion to what we do.
