Pesticides are known to change the balance of the bacteria in the microbiome leading to gut permeability. They have also been linked to cancer, effects on reproduction, and the immune and nervous systems. They can be found not only in our food, but also in drinking water, home and garden treatments, flea, tick and lice treatments and even in the dust in our homes.
